DT Project: Beth Wallen- Flip Book using the Rose Azure Printable Journal Kit

DT Beth has for a fun flip book...

This month I worked with the beautiful Rose Azure Printable Journal kit by Tsunami Rose Designs. While it is a journal kit, I wanted to challenge myself to use it in a different way, so decided to make a flip book. Now, I've only made two previously so this project was really outside of my comfort zone! The kit though made it so easy to put together! I chose several of my favourite pages and used them as a base, added some pockets, ephemera pieces that come with the kit, and topped it all off with some scraps of trim that were just right for this project. Rose Azure is perfect for a pretty, vintage flip book.

Hello, everyone.... for a month of August. I choose paper collection - Life Abloom Printable Journal and for my project I chose to make a mini album using 5x7 envelopes. DT Project: Laurie Fusco- An altered book using Life Abloom Printable Journal

DT Laurie is here with us today with a beautiful piece she has created with her mother in mind...

I made this book in memory of my mom, and I chose this kit to compliment her life. The soft peaches , pinks, yellows are just so peaceful.. This kit is fast becoming my favorite. By adding the gold painted pages, it picks up all the colors in Life Abloom Printable Journal. I also used a variety of Tsunami Rose Designs "Big Element flowers", Wow... I'm in love! They can make anything just pop, you can fussy cut them, glossy accent them or just leave them be, they are beautiful. Thank you so much Tsunami Rose Designs for such beautiful digital kits to work with and have fun.

DT Project: Laurie Fusco- Altered Tags using the Life Abloom Printable Journal Kit

DT Laurie is here with us today...

Here with a set of Altered Tags for Tsunami Rose Designs. These are a set of 3 fold out tags. I used Life Abloom and alot of Tsunami rose ephemera. This collection goes so well with others. There is alot of fussy cutting, pockets , envelopes and bling. The softness of the colors, pinks, oranges, yellows compliments the blues and greens. These designs are so crisp, but soft and a real pleasure to work with.

DT Linda's Lovely Card using a design from Tsunami Rose Designs

This week I have used an older paper from Tsunami Rose Designs that I love SOOOO much.

The card is, I think, a CAS card, since I wanted to showcase the beautiful roses as much as I could.
For decoration I have added some flowers, roses, leafes and a wooden butterfly.
As I final touch I have drawn some lines and then I used some stickles on some parts.

The sentiment is the Swedish word for Congratulations.
