DT Project: Beth Wallen- A Junk Journal using the Charming Fragments Printable Journal Kit

New Design Team Member Beth Wallen joins us with a

lovely Junk Journal!!!

I am thrilled to be a part of the Tsunami Rose Designs team!

For my first project, I am using one of my favourite kits,

"Charming Fragments". This is a beautiful, shabby chic kit in

shades of pink, blue and turquoise. It is packed with

beautifully collaged papers of vintage ephemera, tags,

pockets and journaling cards, making it easy to create a

gorgeous journal. I have used a vintage book from 1901 as

my cover and along with papers from the kit, have filled it

with coffee dyed paper, lace, and flowers. I used the collage

papers in different ways, making tags, pockets and tuck spots

to create a beautiful, one of a kind journal. If you love shabby

chic and vintage ephemera, "Charming Fragments" is a must

have in your digital collection.

DT Project: Sigita Grunte- A Junk Journal using the Rose Azure Printable Journal Kit

New Design Team member Sigita Grunte joins us from the United Kingdom!

Hello everyone.. I choose to use for my design team project -

the Rose Azure Printable Journal paper collection. I am very

happy to show you my first few pages. Inspiration from the

paper collection was huge, as I did not use an actual size of

the collection but went for a bigger size. I set up a challenge

for myself too...

Gorgeous collection, juicy colors, vintage

and romantic. Easy to work with. Can mix and match paper

from the collection as as all the paper works nicely

together. To create this journal I used coffee stained paper,

stencils, stamps, gelli plate printing, napkins, fabric, lace,

calico fabric, cheese cloth. The biggest project ever...

Thank you Daisy for the paper collection and inspiration.

DT Project: Sharon Rodgers- Set of 3 Altered Tags using the Charming Fragments Printable Journal Kit

I loved making these collage style altered tags using all the

bits & pieces I had left over from making my greeting cards

with pages and elements from the Charming Fragments Kit

a perfect way to add lots of layers and different sized papers,

labels and scraps of odd shaped leftovers. From my own

stash I added lace, braid, ribbon, charms, cloth and paper

flowers. A couple of the images like the shoes and rose I cut

from the papers in the charming Fragments Kit and added to

the fronts - multiple uses for the papers! this kit has endless

uses!!

DT Project: Sharon Rodgers- Set of 3 Greeting Cards using the Charming Fragments Printable Journal Kit

My 3 greeting cards today have been made using only

papers/ephemera from the Charming Fragments Printable

Journal Kit - you do not want to miss out on getting this kit

for yourself - there are so many absolutely gorgeous

papers/pages/ephemera to create with that deciding which

bits & pieces to use was so hard - I could have made 10 cards

with everything I printed! The only things I added to these

cards were some old text book pages, charms, hessian,

muslin and paper flowers & leaves - everything else was from

the kit - just so beautiful! These cards are multi layered and

are just the most gorgeous colour tones! I have enough

scraps left over to create even more things!!

DT Project: Tonya Trantham - Junk Journal

New Design Team member Tonya Trantham joins us from Tennessee!

For this junk journal I didn't use one of the journal kits from

Tsunami Rose Design but several printables from the shop to

create a unique journal. First off I cut a file folder down with

the front and back being 5 3/4"x8 5/8" with a 1 1/2" and 2"

fold over for tuck spots inside and the spine being 1 1/2"

wide. I coffee dyed copy paper for the base of my pages.

There are three signatures with eight papers per signatures.

Then I proceeded to decorate with printables which where

used as is or fussy cut and added with other found objects to

the pages.
