Ok. I would like to say ‘hello’ again! My second DT project for January, sounds something like this, ” Anything goes”. So I thought to do a double-page journal. Since I’m not an expert in this art, I love to do it. Maybe I do not always manage to convey exactly what I wanted, but still think it makes sense. However since there are no strict rules in this art and you have complete freedom... can not tell anyone what is wrong or right. I think it depends on your taste.
For this project I used the new "Vintage Parcel" printable journal kit collection. I used only a few shards from the whole collection and I do not know how I managed to emphasize the colors and design... be sure to check out this collection. I’m sure you’ll want to have it. Enjoy and see you soon with new projects.
Remember! Valentine’s Day is near, and Daisy prepared a wonderful collection for this occasion. Check this out and don't miss it.

I am so loving this new new Vintage Parcel collection from Tsunami Rose Designs. Love all the beautiful roses, postcards, ephemera and blue accents. I decided to make a dreams/love note altered Coke Bottle. All the decoupage papers are Vintage Parcel & the rose at the top is made from Grunge Paper that I hand colored and cut.
What an amazing pack of papers to create with - so many absolutely beautiful floral designs on both the pages and accessories - so hard to choose just a few to use on my card! Of course pink is one of my favourtie colours to create with so I chose some of the patterns that were nice and pink LOL. All elements are from the Vintage Parcel Journal Kit by Tsunami Rose Designs pack... including the little ticket "fabulous" wording! Little cherub image is by Sandra Caldwell and was coloured with Copic markers in pink to match! I used my sewing machine to add the patterned paper to the black backing card and added some muslin cloth and paper flowers and leaves to finish it all off. A wonderful pack which I can't wait to use again!
I created a junk journal using the NEW Vintage Parcel Printable Journal for this month. I used ALL the journal papers on brown paper bags, so that I'd have extra pockets. I included all the embellishments, envelopes, pockets, tags, and sentiments. Also included a lot of washi tape and each page has embellishments.

This Vintage Parcel Journal Kit from Tsunami Rose Designs is just an amazing set to work with - just too many gorgeous papers and elements to choose from when creating. I used a whole page as the background and cut into 9 pieces to sew onto my black backing card for each pocket. I made sure to leave them in order so when they are in the pockets they all flow perfectly. The heart banner and "love" wording which were cut on my Silhouette have been cut from card stock printed with another of the page options in the kit along with the little hearts which were the cut out centres of the banner - don't waste anything! On either side of the cute little Sandra Caldwell Gal Digi image I have used 6 of the little labels which are also part of the journal kit. To finish my pocket letter I added muslion cloth, charms, washi tape to the spine and co-ordinating coloured twine. So cute! I think your could make a dozen pocket letters and still be using all the elements of this kit!
