The Kentucky Derby, which first ran in 1875, is best known for the Horses, Kentucky Bourbon and the beautiful Derby Hats that are worn and takes place every year, the first Saturday in MAY. In those two weeks there are many events that take place and many STARS visit and attend these events... a lot are fund raising events for some great charities. In addition to DERBY PARTIES folks here have at home!

Stunning Card using the NEW Rose Azure Printable Journal by DT Marleen

For this project I simply printed out the envelope from the "Rose Azure" Printable Journal  by Tsunami Rose Designs . I cut it out, folded it and used elements from the kit to decorate.

I've made it so it can still open and a gift card or money could be added. A cute little envelope that was very easy to make.

An Encouragement Card by DT Marleen using the NEW Rose Azure Printable Journal

A little quick card. I simply printed the Tsunami Rose Designs printable "Rose Azure" kit, covered a card blank with once of the backing papers and added a strip of lace. I cut out the little pocket from the kit and added one of the many greetings from the kit over the top. The little notelet sticking out of the pocket is also from the kit, left blank for a message to be written on it if wanted. I finished with beads and a bit of glitter glue.

A Lovely Card using the NEW Rose Azure Printable Journal by DT Marleen

Using Tsunami Rose Designs brand new "Rose Azure" kit I've made a little card. The card itself is die cut on my big shot and the "doily" is also diecut. The rest of the card is simply covered with one of the sheets from the kit and then decorated with a few of the elements from the kit.

The card is finished with a bow, a gem and the lock and key brads.
The inside of the card is also covered with the same sheet as I used on the front.
It really sets of the card and there is room to write on the back of the circle.
