Wednesday Challenge 30 - Sketch Challenge

Join us each Wednesday this month (things will be a tad bit different next month) as we bring a little excitement to your crafty day with a challenge! We welcome crafters of all levels to participate, and we also encourage those without blogs to enter as well! :) There are some awesome prizes to win from the shop and from our co-sponsor DK Crafts!

You are welcome to enter any project that you create  you may use any brand products that you post to your blog (or upload to tinypic.com) within Wednesday August 28 thru Tuesday, Sept. 3 . The next challenge and the winner of this challenge will be announced Wednesday, Sept. 3 on the Tsunami Rose Designs blog.

The rules:                                                                

1. Be a follower of this blog.

2. Add a direct link to your blog post via inlinkz. (For help on how to enter your blog post, please see click here.) 
(To enter a non-blog project entries  you can upload your photo to TINYPIC.COM and enter the URL for E-Mail & IM that the website provides.)

3. Add a direct link back to our blog on your blog post.  (Not required for non-blog project entries)

4. Leave a comment here stating you have followed steps 1-3.

Daisy Collins will be the judge and will pick her favorite 3 entries and they will be emailed regarding these prizes as well as receive a  special winner badge to display on their blogs.

1st place will win one copy of the Monochrome  Printable Journal in the color of their choise and $20 to spend in the Tsunami Rose Shop . As well as a special physical prize from our co-sponsor DK Crafts.

2nd place will win $15 to spend in the Tsunami Rose Shop.

3rd  will win $10 to spend in the Tsunami Rose Shop.

Altered Frame using the "MONOCHROME" Printable Journal... by Design Team Member Steph D.

Sharing a Michaels' frame that I embellished using the Tsunami Rose Designs "Monochrome" Printable Journal Kit in Black and Pink.

I used one of the images from the Ephemera Pack to embellish a Michaels Dollar Frame from my friend, Joanne. I embellished it with a bunch of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as bling, tulle, half-back pearl, May Arts lace I tied in a bow, knotted trinket pearls, and Webster's Pages heart trim.

B & W monochromatic paper bag book

My cousin Gio's wedding was last weekend. That was a rough week for me. I had just paid my registration, and then they towed my f#$%ing car. So, I was super flat broke, but I always have my scrapbook supplies! So I decided to whip them up an album that I would have died to receive myself for my own wedding. I decided to go with classy black and white throughout the whole album. Also a nice challenge for myself, I must add. There was a paper pack at Walmart (classy, I know) that was like 12 pages of black and white damask and that's what I used here mostly.
