ILS by Tsunami Rose! Day 223

Hello! I hope you all like the changes I've been doing to my blog these past few days. I'd been getting tired at looking at my old layout. I'm going to be featuring my designs into my blog layout and I'll keep playing with it and changing it up as I feel like it . . . . I'm a dork. I enjoy fixing it up and matching the papers I currently have in the shop. (Custom Graphic Designs by Tsunami Rose)

I'm catching up with posts so please be patient with me! I'm going to be doing some changes with what I'll be doing once this challenge of mine ends this year. I can't believe the year is almost over. And I can't believe how good this blog has been for me. It has been the platform from which I can reach all you lovely people and show case my designs. And for that I am eternally grateful.

Using papers from the shop:

It was my parents anniversary recently. I can't believe I left it up to the last minute to make their card, but I always do that. It's a little wonky in some places but my mom loved it and we had a great family dinner that night.

My ama and apa (as I call them) celebrated their 25th anniversary. They are awesome and the reason I am who I am today. I thank them so much for the hard work they had to endure to raise me and all the headaches I've put them thru. Overall they are still my heroes and such a great example for me and what I want my marriage to be like. They always pushed me to study whatever I wanted to study and to be whoever I wanted to be. And they love me and they love our whole family.

I inked everything in CTMH in Smokey Plum. The sentiment is from Rubber Stampede.

The paper I used was the Grunge Planks however my printer decided to run out of yellow ink and it printed out . . . . . purple-ish. I kind of freaked out because I didn't have $40 to go buy ink so I just went with it. . .  and made it part of the color scheme. LOL. It matched my mothers purple shirt in the picture so I just acted like it never happened. I never throw out cards I make, they can't all be winners.

  9. I love that you took the "bit of a disaster" of one of your inks running out, and built it into your card so succesfully. Congratulations to your parents on their anniversary.
