Junk Journal flip thru with Design Team Member- Fiona Knobben

For my November DT Project I made a 10 page Journal.. I've used some journal pages from the Charming Fragments journal kit and a couple from Rose Azure. I also used the Big Elements #10 Flowers # 1, Ephemera Set #2 and Ephemera Set #8 Childrens Photo's, on some of the pages I used my Decoupage Flowers Sets #6 & 2 ... 

With the wide variety of images in all the kits, it's so easy to create whatever project you desire... I created this Vintage look journal almost completely from the Ephemera packs, they are so versatile creating is a dream with Daisy's kits, she has done the hard work for you really ...

I love how this journal turned out, I'm going to make another one ... Head over the Etsy store and buy a few kits, you will not be disapointed ...

Altered Traveler's Notebook by Tonya Trantham

This month's junk journal for Tsunami Rose Designs I decided to create a traveler's notebook for my dori. I had a leftover file folder I had used to make some dash boards for my planner. I rounded the corners and folded in half to create a 4"x7 1/2" cover for my traveler's notebook. 

Next I cut ten sheets of grid cardstock to fit the inside of the notebook and sewed to the cover. I had leftover printables from the following kits from Tsunami Rose Designs: Tea Party Desserts, Small Mason Jars Collections 1, Decoupage Flowers Set #2 and Printable Ephemera Set # 8 - Vintage Childrens Photos. I thought it would be fun to enlarge some of the mason jars and use them as journaling spots in my notebook. 

After lots of fussy cutting I adhered the images to the pages and lightly embellished. Once finished I added the traveler's notebook to my dori.

Vintage Floral Junk Journal by Laurie Fusco

Here is a peek of my Nov. DT project using photos and flowers. I didn't really use a kit this time. I really tried to showcase all of Tsunami Rose, photos and flowers. These digital kits are so fun and easy to work with, the flowers make every page come to life. All paper was coffee dyed and I did apricot drawing in this book. It was a pleasure putting this JJ together,and once again Daisy thank you for being so creative.

December Floral Junk Journal by Rosemary Roca

Sharing my project this month. I made a Junk Journal using printable that we have, I used Life is Abloom, New Beginnings, and Petticoat Journal Printable.Chunky journal measures 5 1/2 by 7, 30 pages, I am a big stamper so I stamped the backside of all pages, I used a flower stamp to go with the beautiful paper. The tags and ephemera are distressed and stained with ink, I also made simple clips with ribbon. In this book I used lace trimming. Always looking to learn something new. In one of Daisy Collins live video I saw her add an envelope in the middle of the book, I fell in love with that so I had to try it

DT Project: Beth Wallen- Flip Book using the Rose Azure Printable Journal Kit

DT Beth has for a fun flip book...

This month I worked with the beautiful Rose Azure Printable Journal kit by Tsunami Rose Designs. While it is a journal kit, I wanted to challenge myself to use it in a different way, so decided to make a flip book. Now, I've only made two previously so this project was really outside of my comfort zone! The kit though made it so easy to put together! I chose several of my favourite pages and used them as a base, added some pockets, ephemera pieces that come with the kit, and topped it all off with some scraps of trim that were just right for this project. Rose Azure is perfect for a pretty, vintage flip book.

DT Project: Sigita Grunte- Mini Album using the Life Abloom Printable Journal

 

Hello, everyone.... for a month of August. I choose paper collection - Life Abloom Printable Journal and for my project I chose to make a mini album using 5x7 envelopes. What can I say- gorgeous paper collection from Tsunami rose Designs, easy to work with. The title already showed me the way I have to create my album. Romantic, shabby chic white and pink, flowers and lace.
