November D/T Front cover of mini Journal. One signature lots of folds, pockets and ephemera. All from Tsunami Rose Designs printable kits and files.
Here follows pages from the journal. Showing more Digi images from Tsunami Rose Designs. Whilst there is no "Real" theme, it has been great putting images together that reflect one another in some way.
I have used a selection of lace trims to marry up colours or simply enhance pages. I have also used buttons and bling ..... to add extra dimension to Daisy's work... Or to emphasie pockets and tuck folds.
I have used stencil work throughout the journal, although much is hidden by the digi papers. I have also cut out flowers from Daisy's designs. They are beautiful in their own right. They are full of detail from the petals to the stems. A beautiful addition to any paper craft.. from cards to tags to journals and albums.
The pocket is deep... it will hold private notes to self, mementos, tickets..... that sort of thing. The metal piece acts as a tuck spot. The other page is very plain... but I love the eleganced colours of this page. Simple, but very eye catching.
The Journal is made up of one signature. The narrow ribbon that binds the journal has been used to sew everything into place. The ribbon strings exit through the spine and are different lengths which allows a good wrap around keeping the pages and cards safe.
More page incorporating pockets, tuck spots and areas to jot notes. It has been very enjoyable putting all of this together. Using lace trims has certainly added some extra dimension to the project and it does not detract from the beautiful printed images.
It wouldn't be a journal without decorative envelopes. I adore the scalloped edge, the decoration and the component that can either be made into note cards or an extra area to write on. There is an amazing variety available. With new editions added to Daisy's shop just this month. They print out beautifully. ...
